The Gift

Nancy Landgraab was recently seen with Farrah Wilson on the beaches of Sulani giving her a very special gift.

“I was honored that Nancy asked me to do lunch in Sulani,” Farrah tells us. “We were friendly with each other in Riverview, but didn’t hang out much.”

The contents of the gift?

Simoleons!

“Nancy told me that she would like to help fund my campaign!” Farrah squeals excitedly. “I was a politician back in Riverview, but had no idea that Nancy was even a supporter, let alone someone who would believe in me so much that she would want to back me.”

“Yes, I provided a small donation in the hopes that Farrah would consider a campaign run,” Nancy tells us. “Our value align and I think she’s just the type of Sim to make a difference in our great land.”

“This could not have come at a better time,” Farrah adds. “Most Riverview refugees, like Jebediah and I, lost most of our Simoleons. This gift will help a lot.”

However, Nancy was not as generous with her words or her actions when she spotted Athena Alpha.

“I overheard Nancy talking to Farrah about politics and realized that the missing Riverview children would probably be a major issue in their campaigning. Boy, was I wrong! Athena states.

“Athena is trouble” Nancy states impatiently. “Our children are not missing; they’re just out past curfew like always. I reminded her that she had been warned about spreading false gossip and told her she would not be warned again.”

Why does Nancy really want Farrah to be politically involved and why does she see Athena as a threat? More importantly, does Farrah even have the charisma and charm to win over voters in the first place?
