Athena Alpha has been working around the clock to figure out how to reunite Sims families. Her work has been immediately spurred by the McGlum family’s failure to reunite.

“I have a very bizarre problem on my hands–parents who cannot physically reunite with their missing children. I have no idea what to do, so I’ve come to the experts–the Sims of Strangerville.”

“I’m well aware of what happened to Riverview and Sunset Valley,” military personnel Niko Tyson says. “I promised Athena all of the resources we could deliver to those needy families as they wait.”

“The phenomenon that Athena is describing is practically unheard of,” scientist Ashton Goldsmith tells us. “Sims have always been able to travel from one world to the other with ease. I can offer no solution, but I wonder if a industrial or ecological footprint is coming into play.”
Henford-on-Bagley recently boasted a neutral footprint, deviating from it’s usual green.
“The scientists were very kind and highly intelligent, but I felt my hopes deflating. I needed answers that they couldn’t give me. Then, I met Cortney Lansing and I just felt something–so much like peace. I can’t explain it.”

Cortney reveals,”I asked Athena to tell me again how Finn Wilson was reunited with his mother in the park in Henford-on-Bagley. What stood out to me the most was that there was a dog leading them to one another. It just so happens that this is a family of dog lovers!”

“I’m going to go out on a very non-scientific limb here,” Cortney continues. “My hunch, and this is just a hunch, is that families will be brought back together through something that they all love. For the Wilsons, this was a dog.”

I went home, called the McGlums and all my case families. I told them to think about something– anything– that each family member loves. Then, get out there and see if they can find a connection to it somewhere in another world.
Athena continues, “Then, it was some time for some exploration of my own. I ventured to this beautiful tree in my neighborhood thatI had heard stories about.”

“It was amazing! I viewed the tree, and then went inside to a world so beautiful, I can hardly describe it. I thought about each and every family I met and wished with all my being that they would find one another soon.”

As Athena was basking in a new world of beauty, the McGlum parents ventured into the world of Granite Falls.
Sparkles states,”After talking with Athena, Henry and I were discussing the things that meant the most to our family. He immediately thought of camping and suggested we go to Granite Falls. We knew it would be too much of a long shot to expect the kids to be there, but we went anyway.”

“After what felt like miles of exploring, we can upon these brambles and found a hidden cave,” Henry continues. “Don’t know why but we had this intense feeling to explore it.”

“And suddenly–like a dream–a pure miracle!” Henry adds.

Daughter Gracie rushed to Henry upon seeing him and threw her arms around him.
“On a whim, I left Piper with a sitter and took the boys camping today,” Gracie McGlum explains. While exploring, we had this strong urge to explore the hidden cave. When we got here, it was deserted, but then we got the surprise of our lives.”

“I can’t believe my eyes–my boys!” Sparkles cries happily. “This is like a dream!”

“We were just getting ready to leave when I saw Mom and Dad emerge from the cave. I don’t know how this happened, but we’re together again.” Hadden adds gleefully.
So what are the McGlum’s plans now?
“We’re going to follow the kids and settle down in Oasis Springs,” Henry states. It’s time for our new beginning.”
Though the Wilsons and McGlums are happily reunited, there’s still some families out there looking for their loved ones. Will they be able to find each other or will the stay torn apart forever?
