Just as his scientific career was gaining momentum in Riverview, he is forced to begin anew with limited financial resources. To complicate matters, his daughters Abby and Aislinn are missing, adding to the stress of his wife Shirley, who is on the verge of a breakdown.
Upon locating his daughters, Oliver decides to relocate the family to Willow Creek.
