A Night to Remember

After a couple of tumultuous weeks adjusting to life sans parents and trying to fit in at Copperdale High, the Riverview teens finally let loose at their first prom.

“I’m in shock!” Aria Perkins cries joyfully. “I actually won prom queen.”

“I’m so happy for Aria,” Bella Benevolent declares. “No one deserves this more.”

“Are you kidding me?” Aislinn Allstar exclaims “If anyone here knew Aria was an alien, she would never have gotten that crown. I hate to say it, but it’s true.”

Aria snapped a couple of pics and sent them to her older cousin, Abby Allstar.

“I just wish Mom and Dad could see me now,” Aria states. “Maybe some day I’ll see them soon enough.”

The night was also a victory for Brooklyn Benevolent who turned the head of Wolfgang Munch.

“Yes, I was immediately drawn to Wolfgang. He’s got soulful eyes. I don’t usually like high school guys, but he might be the exception.”

Finn Wilson’s sole mission was neither socializing nor dancing, but rather finding crush-of-the-moment Cassandra Goth.

“I don’t usually come to these things, but I felt like Cassandra might show up,” he reveals. I think she had a great time at my place the other night.”

Perhaps the sweetest moment of the night was when Bella ran into her childhood best friend, Holden McGlum.

“This is the perfect ending to a perfect evening! I can’t tell you how much happier I feel knowing that Holden is here at Copperdale. He actually landed down the road from our home in Oasis Springs.

“It was just like old times,” Holden tells us. “Bella and I spent the rest of the night staring at the stars, just talking about life. I can’t believe she’s my neighbor.”

It looks like the Riverview teens have finally found a moment of peace after weeks of chaos. Let’s hope this precious time lasts.
