The gang may be refreshed from their trip to Selvadorada, but new challenges already await them at home.

“I want my family to know that Aria and I have begun a serious relationship,” Finn explains. “My mom has issues with occult Sims, but she’s just going to have to deal.”
“I can’t tell you how bad of an idea this is to invite me inside,” Aria warns Finn. “Your mom already hates me.”

Aria is referencing the run-in she had months earlier with Farrah at The Real Housewives Charity Gala.
“Wait here,” he told Aria. “Let me ease her into the news before I bring you in.”
Farrah was thrilled to see her son, but had no clue as to the bomb he was about to drop.
“Listen mom, I know how you feel about occult Sims,” Finn began, “but there’s something you should know.”

“You’re absolutely right, my dear,” Farrah interrupted. “They are an absolute disgrace to Simanity and have no place in Oasis Springs.”

“Well, actually, occult Sims are no different than us. You see, on this trip, I got to know someone a little better.”
“I’ll be the first to tell you I have no patience,” Aria states. “I didn’t want to stand there and listen to Finn try to justify my existence, so I just barged right in.”

“Hi, I’m Aria. I’m dating your son now.”
“Is this some sort of sick joke?” Farrah demanded, turning to Finn.

“No, Mom. If you just give Aria a chance, you’ll see. . .”

“All I see is an alien in my living room!” Farrah snapped.

“Correction,” Aria stated as she turned into her recently made-over alien form. “Now you see an alien!”
“I don’t get you, Finn!” Farrah accused angrily. “Your father and I raise you right, give you everything and this is how you repay us?”

“I’m not repaying you. This is who I love and I’m asking you to accept and embrace her.”

“Embrace her?” Farrah sputtered disdainfully. “I demand that you end this farce of a relationship this minute or else!”

‘Not happening,” Finn curtly replied.

“You end it or you can forget about your father and I paying for college!” Farrah threatened.

So I made my decision,” Finn tells us as he lugged his suitcase out to the curb. “Maybe I can stay at my sister Tessa’s apartment while I figure out next my next steps.”
Over in Willow Creek, Aislinn returned home and found much more waiting for her than she anticipated.

“Surprise!” her visibly pregnant mom, Shirley, announced. “I guess I should tell you that this baby is unexpected. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to use your college fund to feed another mouth.”
This is Shirley’s third pregnancy since moving to Willow Creek.

“So, what am I supposed to do now?” Aislinn cried as she checked-in on her siblings in the back yard. “Become their live-in nanny? I did not sign up for this!”
There must be something in the water in Willow Creek because Puck also came home to find a parent pregnant, but it is not who was expected.

“If you had told me that I would come home and find my dad’s stomach sticking out farther than is humanly possible, I would have told you you were crazy.”

“Yep, looks like the aliens got me,” Lucky laughed. This one’s going to pop out any minute now.”
Fun fact: This is Lucky’s second pregnancy as an elder.

“My dad’s like a 100 years old,” Puck exclaimed incredulously. “How is he going to care for a baby?”
Brooklyn returned home to a less shocking situation, but one equally concerning.
“I came home and see all these moving boxes!” Brooklyn cried. “It turns out that we we can’t afford Oasis Springs anymore. We have to move out to the country of all places!”

“I thought that I’d come home and start planning my 18th birthday bash with Bella, but she hasn’t even bothered to come home yet.”

To make matters worse, Brooklyn, along with every else in the family, missed Blaise aging up from a toddler into a child.

“I did it!” Blaise called out to Brooklyn. “I’m a big kid now. It was awesome. You should have seen it.”

“Why does everything have to change so quickly?” Brooklyn cried.

Brooklyn consoled herself by eating a ginormous piece of cake.
Meanwhile Edwin finally decidesd to come clean with Bella about something he has been hiding–Vlad’s journal.

“I’ve wanted to open it and discover Vlad’s secrets, but I’m honestly terrified,” Edwin tells Bella.

“We can take turns. You read a little and I’ll read a little,” Bella reassured him.
Edwin scanned a few pages, pausing every so often to shake his head.

“I got nothing. Vlad just talks about how great and powerful he is.”
After taking a turn to read a few pages of the journal, Bella broke the silence.

“I can’t quite make out Vlad’s handwriting, but he talks about someone named Lina,” she stated. “It almost sounds like he has feelings for her.”

Edwin shifted uncomfortably. “He did. She’s my mother.”
Bella gasped. “Your mother? You never mentioned your mother. I just thought she wasn’t part of the picture.”
“She left shortly after I was born. She couldn’t live with the fact that she gave birth to a vampire son.”

I”m so sorry, Edwin,” Bella offered with a touch of sadness in her voice.

“It was a long time ago and it isn’t mportant now. Let’s go to bed.” Edwin shrugged.
Unbeknownst to Bella, Edwin snuck back down to the kitchen to reread the pages he had read not shared with Bella.

Edwin read Vlad’s words aloud: “I will never tell another soul this, but Lina’s beautiful innocence has eroded my heart of darkness. I am the vampire, yet she is the one who consumes me. My desire for her love cannot be quenched.”

Edwin flipped through more pages to another entry. “Today my heart is full. My beautiful Lina has given me a son to call my own. Dare I say how my heart leaps when she gazes at him with complete adoration.”
Edwin turned several more pages. “Dark days have followed us as Greg wishes to destroy our only happiness. I will plan a fate for him worse than death.”

Edwin closed the journal, stunned at what he had learned.
“There’s only one thing left to do now,” he states. “Find Greg.”

Will Finn regret defying his mother’s wishes? Is the road to college out of reach for Aislinn? What will happen when Edwin and Bella find Greg?
