TEEN Takes Action

Upon seeing this appalling billboard in Oasis Springs, the newly-founded TEEN (Teens Embrace Equity Network) club called an emergency meeting in Willow Creek at The Blue Velvet Night Club.

“I talked to a few citizens of Willow Creek who are actually afraid that this same vitriolic garbage is going to spread to their world,” club co-sponsor Lorraine Dean states of the discrimination occult Sims are facing.

“Residents of Willow Creek are very supportive of occult Sims. Their stance is that you don’t have to be a werewolf, vampire, or alien to support one. I couldn’t be more proud,” Athena Alpha beams.

“As members of this club, Cassandra and I are not afraid to speak up whether that’s through peaceful protests, rallies–you name it!” Brooklyn Benevolent adds.

However, the enthusiasm was short-lived when Mei Prescott showed up at the club and accused the teens of skipping school.

“While students are given permission to meet outside of school grounds during club period, this group failed to get this club approved by me in the first place. Therefore, they are cutting and have detention!”

No one and I mean no one has ever gotten Ms. Prescott’s approval to have a specific type of club. They just sign out in the office and are good to go. Why are the rules different for us?” Bella Benevolent asks through tears.

“I attempted to reason with Ms. Prescott, explain our club’s mission and sponsorship, but she cut me off!” Athena states in disbelief. “She said this type of club is a disgrace!”

Meanwhile, over in Oasis Springs, Nancy Landgraab had an impromptu meeting with Farrah Wilson.

“I told Farrah that I while I agree with her intentions of keeping occult Sims out of Oasis Springs, she needs an approach that is less subtle than putting up billboards and scaring Sims, as we saw at the charity gala.”

“I am doing exactly what Nancy told me to do–keeping occults out of Oasis Springs. I resent her questioning my methods!” Farrah shouts angrily.

“I explained the importance of innocent Sims putting their faith in us and how that might be more difficult for them to do if we portray ourselves as drama queens who fly off at the drop of a hat.”

When Farrah didn’t budge, Nancy decided to put some fires out by traveling to Moonwood Mill.

“I know this Jay kid enjoys getting a rise out of Farrah, so I’ve got to put a stop to that. I’ll have a little talk with his mother,” Nancy states with a wink. “I can be very persuasive.”

“I met Raelyn and introduced myself as someone who would be willing to find sponsors for both Jay and Caelyn’s college tuition. All she has to do to receive the money is to re-enroll them in homeschool and forbid them from entering Oasis Springs again.”

“It’s no secret that my greatest dream is to see my kids go to college,” Raelyn states. “Seth and I pretty much fish and do a little bit of gardening to just keep a roof over our heads.”

But before she could continue to sell her idea, Nancy had to run for cover when Seth started rampaging nearby.

“I miss my nice house in Oasis Springs, I miss my nice house in Oasis Springs,” Farrah was heard repeating in a panic as she sought shelter.

Nancy got out of immediate harm’s way, but was stunned when she ran into Johnny Zest in the forest.

“Hi,” Johnny was heard saying meekly.

“That little brat followed me here!” Nancy exclaims incredulously. “He probably wants my money.”

“Contrary to what Nancy believes, I actually prefer to practice my comedy routines out in the cold–better for my vocals. I suggested she put a coat on, because it’s freezing!” Johnny states calmly.

“Stay out of my life!” Nancy was heard yelling. “Never approach me again!”

Nancy walked away in a huff, yelling obscenities before she was stopped in her tracks.

“The cold overtook me. I started to feel very warm on the inside, but was shivering on the outside,” Nancy explains.

“I just want to–sleep,” Nancy was heard mumbling as she hit the snow.

Will Johnny help Nancy after her outburst or is she doomed to freeze to death? Why does Nancy want Johnny to stay away from her? Is there more to their relationship that meets the eye?
