Life’s a Beach

Puck Perkins and Morgan Fyres chose to skip school rather than deal with the rumors of their mess-around activities from the night before.

Their location?

Sand Simoleon Beach!

“Yeah, I didn’t think I was a beach person, but Morgan changed my mind. She’s good at that,” Puck states.

“The coolest moment of the day was when a dolphin swam up to me,” Puck adds. “I think he just wanted to see Morgan!”

“I was really nervous, but took Bella’s advice,” Cassandra states. “and I’m glad I did. Holden is the easiest person in the world to talk to.”

“That girl sure can build a sand castle!” Holden exclaims. “I thought I was good, but Cassandra’s got me beat.”

“Things were going so well,” Cassandra adds. “It was just like old times with him, but better.”

However, the moment didn’t last.

“I was getting ready to share my sand castle building secrets with Holden, but suddenly he walked off to lounge in a chair beside Bella, like he had meant to be there all along. Like I had just been some kind of distraction.”

Cassandra spent the rest of the afternoon eating her feelings.

Just a couple of beaches away Jay Black and Aria Perkins were seen taking cover from the sudden thunderstorm.

“There’s just something so romantic about the rain,” Jay says. “I felt like it would be a perfect time to get closer to Aria.”

“Aria knew how I felt about her, but now it was time to declare my love,” Jay said. “I’ve never felt so nervous in my life.”

“Jay told me he loved me!” Aria gushes, “and of course I said it back, because I do. I do love him, I mean!”

“The moment was perfect,” Jay states. “It just felt so right. . .to put my lips onto hers.”

“Jay just–startled me!” Aria exclaims. “I couldn’t do it. I completely ruined our moment and I don’t know why.”

To make an awkward moment even more awkward, Aria spent the rest of her time playing solo in the rain.

Meanwhile, some of the parents of the teens were having problems of their own.

“My utility bills are 21,000 simoleons–21,000 simoleons!” Roxie Perkins cries in disbelief. “That’s more than I make in a month.”

FYI: Roxie and her family live in Willow Creek in the Courtyard Lane neighborhood.

The Perkins family isn’t the only family in Willow Creek to fill the pinch.

“I literally live in a one bedroom-one bathroom home,” Athena Alpha tells us. “The most expensive thing I own is my computer and my bills are in the thousands!”

However, Willow Creek residents are not the only Sims feeling the strain.

“For the first time in many years, things are tough for our family,” Bruce Benevolent states. “Lucy really wants me to stay home with the kids now, but I don’t know how we’re going to stay afloat.”

FYI: Previously, Bruce Benevolent was a self-made business tycoon who wanted for nothing in Riverview.

Nancy Landgraab, the owner of Landgraab Power Company, provides an explanation.

“I think the prices that Landgraab Power Company charges its Sims are beyond reasonable. The trouble comes in when families don’t use eco-friendly appliances,” Nancy warns.

However, many Sims suffer greatly when Landgraab Power takes it upon itself to conserve energy by turning off power.

Shirley Allstar tells us,” After my power got turned off, I started sweating like crazy and had to go on the front porch. I realized I was in labor, but was too exhausted to get my phone to call for help.”

“I came home to my mom passed out on the porch and my baby brother in his bassinet. I named him Aiden Oliver. You’re welcome,” Aislinn states.

When reached for comment concerning that power outages, Nancy had no further comment because she was busy planning for The Real Housewives Charity Gala, one of the biggest social events of the year.

Will Aria find out what’s holding her back from becoming physical with Jay? Will Cassandra get Holden to finally forget about Bella? Will the charity gala benefit anyone, besides Nancy Landgraab?
